The DeWitt Hospital and Nursing Home is a 25 bed critical access hospital located in DeWitt,
Arkansas County, Arkansas with a local population of 3,552. The hospital serves areas of
Arkansas, Prairie, Jefferson, Deshea, and Phillips counties. Here is a
map to our facility.

Since its ground-breaking and construction in 1962, the hospital and nursing home has seen
several expansions and improvements, as well as the acquisition of the Ferguson Rural Health
Clinic.

The hospital is owned and operated by the DeWitt Hospital and Nursing Home Inc Not-For-Profit
organization, which was founded by three local community members who were also presidents of
the local banks.

We provide such services as an emergency department, ambulance service, laboratory, respiratory
therapy, radiology, CT scans, ultrasound procedures, pharmacy, home health offices in DeWitt and
Stuttgart, physical therapy, bone density exams, a rural health clinic and a nursing Home. Our
current goals in these departments are to better identify our customers and to acquire and provide
access to procedures and equipment that they are unable to obtain elsewhere.

Our nursing staff has a greater amount of time to spend with each patient because of the fewer
number of patients that we see. When patients come to our facility, they can expect a clean
facility with new patient service equipment and a staff that will make them feel respected and
comfortable, all while maintaining privacy. We like to keep things simple at DHNH. We allow
plenty of time to spend with each patient to give them the information that they need to know and
make sure they understand the treatment they are receiving.
