Who should consider Home Care?

Patients and family members consulting with their
physician in a variety or situations should consider
home care, which accomplishes the following:
Provides care for those who are discharged
from the hospital, but not fully recovered.
May prevent or postpone hospital or nursing
home care.
Allows maximum freedom for the client.
Offers individualized care tailored to the needs
of the client and the family.
Provides professionally supervised services.
Allows dignity and independence.
Supports families while keeping them together.
Offers lower cost of care than in hospital or
nursing home settings.
Hours of Operation:
8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Monday - Friday
Registered Nurses take call 24 hours a day / 7 days a
week. You may reach the On-Call Nurse after hours,
weekends, and holidays by calling the DeWitt Hospital
at 870-946-3571. The On-Call Nurse will be paged and
return your call as soon as possible.
